Introduction:
Dominoes is an entertaining family game that is enjoyed by people of all ages. The game requires the players to match their tiles and calculate strategies to score points. The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins. The game can be played with 2 to 4 players and is one of the most popular tabletop games in the world. In this walkthrough, we will guide you through the rules and strategies of this classic game.
Rules:
1. To start, shuffle the tiles face down and each player should randomly pick seven tiles. The remaining tiles should be kept on the table as a draw pile.
2. The player with the highest double tile gets to play first. (If no one has a double tile, the player with the heaviest tile goes first).
3. The first player puts a tile face up on the table.
4. The next player puts down a matching tile next to the first tile. The matching tile can be placed on either side of the first tile.
5. If a player does not have a matching tile to play, they should draw a tile from the draw pile until they can play a tile. If the draw pile is empty, they should pass their turn to the next player.
6. If a player cannot play a tile and the draw pile is empty, they should say “pass”.
7. The game ends when one player has played all their tiles, or when no player can make a move.
8. The total score is calculated by adding up the dots on the remaining tiles of all the players.
9. The player with the lowest total score wins.
